Our Team:

Our toolset enables financial institutions to become more efficient, know and control their portfolios and serve more clients. We provide access to our toolset on a subscription basis, giving financial institutions access to leading technology. We are a financial inclusion company serving financial institutions in remote, hard-to-reach communities. Using insights from our community of customers, we build a cloud-based toolset that smart financial institutions plug into to access best practice and efficiency.

Responsibilities: 

  • Understanding the market
    • Deep understanding of the market to identify sales opportunities. Creating leads and understand customer needs
    • Immerse yourself in fintech, using appropriate research tools to identify, contact and sell to leading players that meet qualifying criteria
    • Engage in industry groups and events within the geographic territory to promote the company’s product and identify new opportunities
    • Keep up to date with trends and the latest technology to act as a valued resource for prospects and customers
    • Articulate company’s value proposition to senior executives at financial institutions to assess buying interest
  • Sales and Revenue
    • Develop sales strategies to deliver the business plan
    • Optimize sales activities to maximize the company’s growth
    • Manage all aspects of sales within the assigned territory including; prospecting, activity tracking, opportunity management, forecasting revenue, contract management, and closing deals
    • Generate new, qualified opportunities to maintain the appropriate pipeline
    • Meet and exceed set revenue target
    • Utilize the consultative sales model to understand the objectives and needs of customers to develop solutions through the company’s offerings and additional services
  • Other
    • Provide accurate sales reports
    • Optimize the sales experience in Pipedrive
    • Report to Head of Customer Acquisition and work closely with other teams

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B Sales, preferably in:
    • Business solutions
    • Software solutions
    • Microfinance and financial inclusion
  • Knowledge of emerging markets is a plus
  • Experience in banking, fintech or financial inclusion is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is valued
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Executive or similar role

  • Proven experience and track record in solution selling, driving the sales process from plan to close
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully working independently and collaboratively
  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Endless curiosity and a need to dive deeper for understanding
  • Proficiency in English
